Description
The blooms on the lilies at my front door were at their peak on this rainy Sunday morning. I was struck not only by their magnificent colour, which I tried to capture in my painting but more importantly to work was the way the rain dropped on and dripped from the blooming flowers. This is not so much a story of beautiful flowers as one about raindrops in motion.
